Interesting match report from saturdays game. Kenny obviously was not happy and rightly so. Wonder how the manager and players will react to their public telling off.

Must agree with Kenny, a very disappointing performance. I cannot understand the substitution of King for Paynter. He seemed to be trying really hard and had scored a goal whereas Cooke had a very poor game and hardly won a ball all match. Obviously the manager knows something we dont, or thinks he does. Despite all the brave talk at the begginning of the season we will struggle to finnish in the top three let alone win the league as Mr Batch suggested

I agree with comments already made, but my gripe is with the central defence, I must name Challen as not being at his best, and his pace was lacking getting caught out of position several times, with McNeil leaving gaps to cover, he to was not at the top of his game, surely Josh Carus should have replaced one of them, after all, I believe he was voted player of the year two years running, and is a big favourite with the supporters, and why take Paynter off,? he was the only one who looked like scoring. I get the feeling of old pals act at the back,!!!!!. And Mr Batch, you talked the good talk at the AGM, but don't hear a lot now.

Why is it that the supporters of this club only speak up on this forum when there is some thing negative to say. In all fairness Big Dave you have made positive comments in the past but what about you Phantom and others that like to be negative. There has been many good performances this season from both the Team and individuals but neither has been praised apart from the physio. Yet a poor performance by both team and individuals and players are being named. Maybe this is a reflection of our society as people love to moan and knock others but rarely like to praise. Yes you are all entitled to your views but try to share your positive ones now and again as it may give those that read this forum a lift, and you might actually feel better about yourself. ;D

To balance things out, I believe there has been a lot of positives this season and certain players(White,Howes,Pauling,Paynter to name a few) have shown real commitment and effort along with considerable skill. I realize that the reserves division is of a lower standard but there are players there who deserve a chance. Mr Batch said he was not going to have two sides but a squad, but it seems no matter how poorly some players perform they are still automatically picked. I did not get to Dereham last week as I was in Shropshire, but from the team list I have seen there were players there who should have deserved a chance on saturday. I also echo phantom's comment about Josh. What on earth is he doing on the bench? Anyway the past is gone and now we must move on to Saturday a Woodbridge. Lets hope the boys can do a great Job and come home with three points.

The important thing for me is that there are some people out there who have a view. It would be nice to hear more good or bad! One message I think Kenny has tried to get across is that it is becoming increasingly difficult to cover our costs. I attend more of the reserve games, so this is just an example - two weeks ago we played Brandon and won 4-1; good game and everyone enjoyed themselves. But Colin Hazell kindly agreed to do the gate (for nearly two hours) and collected around £70; the officials cost £95 and we had hospitality and kit washing on top of that plus other sundry costs of staging the game. Last night Les King took £88 and a few pounds was raised on teas; the officials took £75 but there was still kit and hospitality plus cost of floodlights to take out so again we were down. The recession is really hitting all - Mattishall said the same. Our 1st team costs are of course much higher. As volunteers we all work hard to try and keep the club going as we all want our "football fix" each week. Can anyone offer any comfort - a few extra sponsors would be nice! Comments awaited.

To save some money and not be done under the trades descripition act, can i suggest the "assistant referee"(God only knows how he assisted the referee!!)on the clubhouse line hand his fee back because that offside he missed for their first goal was shocking !!!!!

I guess the club needs to cut their cloth accordingly and maybe become more realistic , you simply can not rely on Kennys hand outs for ever . Pleading poverty yet paying some off the first team silly amounts of money is a bit much , maybe all the backroom staff , including physios will give their services for free as they seem to love the club so much .

Where ever kenny or who ever you suggests spends their money is of no concern ,the matter is that everyone at Wroxham FC is deflated when simple decisions such as the obvious off- side last night are missed . I am not in the game of slating officials as without them there is no game but i do think that the linesman, assistant referee or what ever they are called, was at fault for their opening goal and in relation to what they are paid, a very fundemental mistake which in my book is a concern.

It always shows a persons mentality when they cant put forward their opinion without getting personal towards others. It seems my misguided friend that you do seem to have some kind of axe to grind ,well my advice is that you come to one of the many meetings held at the clubhouse and put forward your ideas on cost cutting and see if the people who actually have any real input into the club agree.I will also say that if your ideas are accepted im sure myself and the other much respected physio that you have publicly slated on here would tender our resignations with immediate effect. There my friend i have put forward my idea now why dont you put your money where your over-large mouth is and come and publicly put forward your ideas !!!

Bad game, poor defending but hey MAN UTD don't win every game.
You need to look at the possitives, and there is no bigger one than our spirited winger SPRIGGS who is my early condender for player of the season.
