Ouch! Sorry guys but yous were totally outclassed outfought and outplayed by a far superior team today.
Think your manager lit the fuse by declaring he thought we weren't as good as the teams yous have beat, well am telling him and yous now that we were and are and always will be! Congratulations on making the final, although wasn't much of a spectacle. Yous played the same way today as yous did when we come to do our scouting report on you, too direct and too predictable. Hit cook every time. Was Lemmon playing?! God that boy does like to shout at players. Wouldn't mind if he was outstanding but he was a passanger today. Never got a sniff.Don't think it would have flattered you if we put 10 past yous.
Now yous all know who the mighty Whitley Bay are!
Peace out.

Now you see why the North Shields Ultras dislike these people so much.
Unlucky today lads. I hoped you (or is it yous) would do us all a favour.
(I refer to my previous post "Good luck Wroxham from all the North Shields Ultras).

No,in the end it wasn't much of a spectacle; the nature and timing of the early goals made it hard to watch but how many of us really thought Wroxham would be in the final during those early rounds? It was a remarkable achievment and there's is no shame in losing to a better team. Well done to everyone involved at the club, youdid Norfolk proud!

I have to agree it was a bit onesides in the end but wroxham have nothing to be ashamed about. I thought whitley bay could be good but not that good. they played some brilliant football. No wonder red mist is so jealous. while his team have struggled in the league below over the last few years his near neighbours are playing fantastic football like everybody who was at wembley saw yesterday.

Hi All, I'm a total neutral but was sat in with the Wroxham fans yesterday.
Full credit must goto to Whitley Bay, they were superb on the day and played some lovely football to go with it. A very powerful and well organised team who have some excellent players.
I was at Wroxham's semi-final at Whitehawk and after seeing that performance I did believe that your team could give Whitley Bay a tough match but a goal after just 21 seconds really does set the tone and Bay really controlled things despite Paul Cook getting a goal back.
In the end a 6-1 scoreline was very cruel indeed but it outlined the gulf in class on the day between the two sides.
Wroxham and everyone connected with the club should be very proud of their achievments this season and to just get to Wembley in the FA Vase you have to have a decent team.
All the best of luck for next season and good luck in the FA Vase for next time.
Cheers
Neil

Commiserations to our lads on their defeat on Sunday. I, Like everyone else connected with the club im sure, felt very proud to see the team walk out on that pitch yeterday and congratulations must be given to them for actually getting there in the first place, although im also 100% sure that at the moment the lads will feel very deflated . I must congratulate Whitley Bay as i was very impressed with them particularly the lad Kerr who was by a country mile the best player on the pitch and they certainly deserved to win on Sundays evidence but i must also say in defence of our lads that i definately know they can play better than they produced . I definately think that Whitley Bay had an advantage experience wise as they played at Wembley last year and so probably felt the nerves a little less than our lads. Anyway well done on reaching the final and giving all of us a day to remember and ,as previous posts have suggested, lets look forward to next years competition and use this experience in a positive way.

out played, outnumber,out shouted.
Back to less than 70 at a game, back down to earth now. I want to see us play at wembly every week and not at rubbish ground like, Mildenhall, Gt Yarmouth, Ely, Norwich, etc......

To the sensible Woxham fans, ignore the juvenile postings by an alleged Bay fan, there's always one! To paraphrase the late great Sir Bobby Robson, 'You've got to learn to win with grace' From our point of view obviously we enjoyed the game, and some cracking goals. Thanks for the sporting touch of applauding our boys as they came down to the pitch after collecting the trophy. Chandlers built an attcking team that reflects his beliefs on the game and we are lucky it's all come to fruition over the last two years, so we''ll enjoy it while it lasts. Good luck for next season to everyone connected with Wroxham

Alleged whitley bay fan?! Am part of the coaching staff... Only posted because I thought your manager was cocky and letting his mouth go, putting more pressure on your boys when they didn't need it.
In reflection maybe I shouldn't have posted straight after a game. Yes we were far superior and maybe I should have been more dignified.
Hope you's all enjoyed your day out at wembley. After meeting majority of fans when we come to watch I would like to wish yous all a succesful season next season and who knows we may meet again soon.

it seems strange to me that the two teams that played in the vase final have not applied to move on to step four of the current system yet the two losing semi-finalists both won their leagues and have applied to move on . Whitley i guess have decided to make money of their crowd and vase successes, and wroxham made the most of the draw this year and must have an even better season this time round to make full benefit of their newly found finances . far be it from me to tell wroxham what to do but i would start with talking your two starting full backs out of finishing their careers , they might be getting on but they looked good to me . final word to whitley , well done i have watched both many trophyand vase finals and you have some team it would be nice to see you move on i believe you have a bright future , as do wroxham but at this level.
