Well what will the 0-1 loss to St Ives mean to Wroxham this season? Out of the Vase, could be out of the Norfolk Sen Cup by this time next week, and with Dereham running away with the league it seems like another waste of a 40-50k playing budget.
Surely the opinion of the 60-70 Wroxham supporters would be that Batch has had his time and not delivered?
That he has promised lots and delivered very little.
That by signing local players he has only strengthened the reserves.
That by losing Danny white, Martin Mcneil and Steve Spriggs to Kings Lynn really showed the true aspirations of Wroxham FC's ambitions? Afterall, Wroxham cannot be promoted, so what is the point of the investment in the club?
So many questions, so many queries, so many promises, so little delivered by Batch and his army of coaches...

firstly there is no doubt that the players, management, the club officals, and supporters were well and truly gutted after the result yesterday, ( none more that me ), in a game which was exciting to watch, with two equal teams, and was always going to be the first goal which will win the game, unfortunalty , it came in the last minute of the second period of extra time.
In the cold light of day, it was always going to be near impossible to repeat the cup run of last year, but cards on the table, we did expect to have a good run in the cup, but that is cup football for you, as many teams have found out down the seasons.
but i dis agree with you amused, we have to believe that we can now go on to win the league, the senior cup, and the league cup, other wise we all might as well pack up and go home, and knowing the people of wroxham FC , the players etc, that is the way they will be thinking right now, so do not judge us now, judge us in may next year.
finally good luck to St Ives , in the next round oft he cup.

To follow on from JC's comments I am sure that all at the club are indeed gutted at yesyerdays result but from most of the spectators I spoke to I feel he was watching a different game if he thought it was "exciting to watch". Unfortunately I felt it was boring and typical of so many performances since Mr Batch took over and I know I am not the only one who thinks this way. I know that by making any comment I will be slagged off by some of the more vocal members of the club but there you go. Apart from Gary Gilmore I dont think anyone came near to scoring yesterday and all we got was a load of long balls lumped forward and very poor forward play. Maybe we can get further in the League cup and Senior cup but I would be amazed if we won the League. As for the airraid siren yesterday, it was a disgrace and a joke and perhaps we would be better trying to play better football instead of relying on stupid gimmicks. Dave

Dave.
I for one will not slag you off, that's what the forum is all about, you are entitled to your opinion as much as anyone else.
with having to play Dereham twice, and they also have other hard games, just think we need the believe that we can still win 3 things.
suppose time will tell, speak to you soon .

I would pack up and go home, Wroxham are going to have a trophy less season. Senior Cup - Kings Lynn League Cup - Leiston League - Dereham Wroxham will not beat Dereham twice, plus they will lose some more games anyway. Scott Howie, Graham Challen, Gary Gilmore & now Ben Thompson the only decent players Wroxham have, not good enough to win the league and it's a poor league nowadays

Leiston may struggle to win the League Cup considering they're already out!
Just proves how much sense your talking....

ha ha love that doh !!!!!.
in real terms we had a trophyless season last year, but no one would swop for the season we had .
as to players, you forgot ross durrant, howsey, cook, hilton, in fact the whole squad , who would be a match for anyone on our day.
as i have said judge us next may, as we will judge your predictions golden boy, but you aint made the best of starts have you ?

So many negative comments.....
wouldn't a more positive fan base help your team? maybe if the fans actually cheered or did something other than stand about as if they were at a funeral?
as for lack of ambition, the loss of players such as Spriggs was more about demographics than ambition and some good players have come in since, this is more than a strong reserves.
I for one wish the team luck and will be behind them 100% (do agree with the air raid siren, it is embarrasing and would love to see the back of it)

its a shame but david batch is not liked by local supporters and players , this should not reflect on the players ,and lets be honest the little man did get wroxham to wembley so maybe his ways work. i think wroxham will pip dereham for the league due to these added players , it would be good to see two norfolk teams fighting for the title , and maybe one will step up to the next level and give our area a good standard to watch

Hands up on the league cup, i didn't have a clue who was left in so took a pot shot at Leiston ;D see your boys done well against Leiston anyway, so ur still going to pip Dereham, at this rate you'll be lucky to finish above Haverhill? Howesy a good player? he should retire, same for Hilton and Ross Durrant WHOOOOOOOO?
