Jamie has been involved 2 or 3 times this year I believe and Liam played a few times for reserves before getting injured. Liam was mentioned as he played in the final previously mentioned and has been involved this season.
The reserves is there to feed the first team when they are in need. So being involved and playing when numbers are low is exactly how a reserve team operates. The main fact is the lads have got to build up a base of experience first before they can make the step.
Remember we are talking about young lads.
Im sure you do follow Wroxham. But I certainly wouldn't call you a fan with the negativity you are showing. Too many people trying to nock what they are doing. They are in a healthy position in the league with a great opportunity to be promoted. We should be happy. Right?

@ben, didnt criticize the youth TEAM, or any of the teams or players, infact your post supported what I was saying about policy, yet again Wroxham have a talented youth team, but if the pattern of a few years ago continues very few would make the first team. surly it would be better having a few barren years whilst these players get used to first team football and a successful team for years to come, rather than the same barren years whilst the experienced players are picked up afew at a time that brings success for short periods.

agree its a good debate, but agree with observer seems clicky, Josh Carus has been 1 of our best defenders when he plays but never a regular

Josh is a good defender. But apparently has been unavailable a lot through work.
Hopefully he has got this sorted now, which will help us out at the back.

Out of interest, anyone know where Jordan will play for the remainder of this season?

Think he's heading to Dereham. Plenty of young first team regulars at Aldiss Park!!

Good post steve71. (mr rocastle). The manager may have lost your respect, but hopefully he gained more respect from the players disrespected by jordan in the reserve game last week- which is surely is more important in the long term.
My understanding is that jordan was told this decision straight after the ressie game, so whether Jordan was going to leave or not is irrelevant as any option he may have had was taken away after acting poorly.

Mr Interesting, I am in deed Mr Rocastle, Jordans dad, have taken the effort to register cos I have nothing to hide about my posts, if you aint big enough to reveal who you are and hide behind a guest log in I really am not interested in what you have to say, I have not criticized the team, or the managers achievements, I stated my dis-pleasure at the mis-leading statement the club released, and replied regarding lack of opportunity for young players.

Ps Mr Interesting, are you claiming the reserve manager makes decisions on who leaves the club, as I'm quite certain Mr Batch wasnt there

At the end of the day Wroxham have lost a very good young player who, from what i have seen, will go onto be a very good footballer. Another indicative situation which suggests that Wroxham do not have the 'personal' skills to be able to communicate and deal with a situation before it becomes too late.
Good luck to Jordon at Dereham who do realise that the young lads are what sets up a football club for the long term. You only have to look at Olly Willis, Nicky Howell et al to see that they are doing it the right way.
Hopefully Jordon and Dereham will go on to prove that their way is the right way.
