i am sorry i did not understand how to join the website , but bwould like to get my view over. the team at present is the least entertaining i have seen , i have missed the football due to the snow. please can we see some football played , i will continue to follow the team but would like to watch the game played in the correct way. i think the players would play but the manager is too complicated and we need to get back to basics.

Interesting additions to the clubs contracted players...are they really up to the standard of Stone at Kirkley, or a Gilmore? The team looks strong in places but very weak in others, for instance, up front is lacking in my opinion, Cook is not on the same level as Stock, or any of the teams leading the league. In midfield Gareth Simpson looks very sluggish and overweight, with out Gilmore there is no real width and penetration. Lemon, Challen, Mcneil, Carus, Howes are strong as is the keeper, but where are the quality Wroxham players coming from? The ones who would get you off your seat and excite you...unfortunately if you take out Paynter and Gilmore, Wroxham in my opinion is a very ordinary Ridgeons League team.
The squad is poor too with average players being recruited...sad days i feel for the club.

Rich, you are the reason why this website is so under used, because you cannot debate anything without a ridiculous remark being made.
This website is going one way only, as is the team by the look of it...

Had to join to put my point across;
Great to see people coming on and giving new players a great welcome!
Clearly not fans of the club, and judging by the references to Kirkley 'star' players and 'complicated' instructions from manager - is obvious a certain former player (mr Key?) has been busy tapping away in the absence of matches this weekend!
As somone who watches most matches and friendly with several players, in answer to some of the points raised in previous posts I am gong to do something that never happens on this website and be POSITIVE so can confirm that;
1. 'Are new players up to the standard of Stone at Kirkley'
- Both players have been at pro clubs prior to Wroxham, (Ipswich & Stoke), not sure if Stone has?
-Anyone at match v Kirkley recently wouldve seen; Bulman - set up first goal, hit bar and get several great crosses in
Daniels - was brilliant in c midfield
(in other words, the only ime we have had a direct comparison to 'Stone', they were MILES better)
Only time wil tell of course if this proves to be true.
2. COOK
- Scored more league goals last year than Stock (who played in team that won the league)
- in recent game v kirkley, Cook bossed the kirkley c backs and scored. Stock hardly had a kick. Same as previous game earlier in the season.
That said, i do believe Wroxhm asked about Stock when at Lowestoft, but thousands of pounds and big wages for a player near end of career, was not considered a better option that cook who is more mobile and has another 8 seasons playing in front of him!
3. GILMORE
Hasnt played since Yarmouth at home due to injury - since then club have not lost a game - surely testament to the squad, (although most teams, inluding Wroxham, miss him)
4. 'Strong players'
'Observer' lists no fewer than 7 who are STRONG - presume this means he IS HAPPY then?!
(Doubt it though as he is from another club and therefore must be worried eah time they play us knowing we have in his opinion ONLY 7 QUALIY PLAYERS in our line up!
5. SIMPSON
Comment about him was probably correct in the first couple of games of season, but recently he has held midfield together.
Clearly 'observer' hasnt watched receent matches, or more likely (was in the reserves when Simpson was bossing matches so was unable to witness these performances!)
6. COMPLICATED MANAGER
Probably is for players of poor ability, but those players are being replaced by ones that can understand instructions - like 'work hard' !
Imagine thats why the curent squad love being at Wroxham

I would just like to say well done to James Bulman and Matty Daniels on gaining club contracts. Both in my opinion are good long time signings.Will agree that both, at the present time ,are the unfinished product but both without doubt have the raw talent and natural athletisism to become extremely good footballers at this level if they are nurtured in the correct way and im sure everyone on the Wroxham FC staff will do their upmost best to support these players in that long term objective.

just to throw the cat amongst your many pidgeons over there, have been told on the grapevine that Justin Fox has been offered the managers job for next season . This would be a great move and i think things can only get better for you lot , can not believe the earlier comments from a very bitter member of your management team , to be honest wroxham are just making the numbers up now, let the players play but you need players in the first place.

wroxham and proud sounds like you have over reacted and shown you are not up to the job , maybe need to keep your eyes closer to home.

My Mistake
Earlier post mentions Paynter, so that makes 8 quality players in the line up!
Interestingly didnt mention Spriggs - surely an early contender for player of the year?

Bet365dotcom here & after reading through these posts as an WFC admirer and looking through the previous subjects on the general board I would like to have a wager with you all.....
Odds on Observer/mike/LL all being Andy Key or associates of Andy Key 1-5
Odds on the "Yellow bellied" Justin Fox becoming a manager (anywhere) 100-1
Odds on the "Yellow bellied" Justin Fox becoming the manager of Wroxham 1000-1
Odds on Kenny Cooke betting on the "Yellow bellied" Justin Fox to be manager of Wroxham (at odds of 1000-1) 10 000-1 *please note Mr Cooke all bets are void if you give the job to Justin Fox, collect your winnings and then reinstate the previous manager
If you fancy the above 2 bets then i will set it off on the following bet;
Majority of players will leave Wroxham if Justin Fox became manager 1-1 000 000

Now you are getting the idea , Justin Fox will be manager sooner rather then later and we can hopefully start again. Ask your chairman
